So Here I am thinking and raise many questions to myself.

What do I stand for?

What do I oppose?

What Am I willing to compromise?

How committed am I to Liberty and her preservation?

Hard questions ? For some yes. For others not so much. I get a myriad of action emails and notices from people. Some I act on and give due diligence, some I lay aside , some I send to the trash bin. I am hoping that everyone of us has used our moral compass to determine for ourselves how involved we will become.  I had a conversation about a week ago with a supervisor at work on some of these same questions. He stated he could not at this time get involved. Political involvement could very likely lead to some unhappy times in his home. Although I do not agree with that, I respected his straightforward replies. The man I have automatically respected since the first time we met. I continue to do so. This conversation with him prompted the questions above. How far am I willing to go in defense of liberty and the opposing of tyranny? Honestly ? As far as I can and remain faithful and true to myself and my kids. I took an oath in 1992.

I Keith A. Orsag , do solemnly swear that I will protect and defend the Constitution Of the United States against all enemies Foreign and domestic…………  . Some of you have perhaps taken the same oath, or one very similar. I think now of the gravity of those words . I swore to defend a piece of paper. A piece of paper that for over 200 years has served as a beacon on a hill to the entire world. America has affected every nation it has come in contact with. This Country has done far more good in the world than we have bad.

I will protect and defend the Constitution of THE UNITED STATES against all enemies ……….. That carries with it some implicit questions as well. Against whom? My family? My friends? A religion? A radical cell of terrorists? Elected officials?

Next part ……….Against ALL ENEMIES. That my friends is an inclusive statement. ALL means ALL . 

I know this When it comes right down to it , I will honor my Oath as my faith allows. I will obey the laws as long as they do not interfere with God’s laws. 

I left most of the questions unanswered, they weren’t for me anyway. They were for you. Each and everyone of us must decide for him or herself what are the answers. I cannot do so, nor will I try . To do so would be a huge display of arrogance. I read once where a wise General made a statement , ” As for me and my house , We Will serve the LORD” .  I hope that all who read this will endeavor to protest and rally together in a civil manner . I have every confidence in y’all.

In my last blog post I used language and terms in a manner that is unacceptable for me . As  a Christian I am ashamed that the terms I used came from me . I believe I brought shame to myself and to the memebers of my congregation. I hope that I willbe forgiven of this. I could try and sayI was angry which is true. However it does not and will excuse my language. Period.

WOW! WTF AMERICA?!? Did our elected idiots just spend more money on yet another frivolous pet project? Yes gentle reader they did. I am stunned. I really have nothing to say other than BOHICA. Bend Over Here It comes Again. Jeebus can we all get together and march in the streets? There probably hundreds if not thousands of Internet political activity sites . You think we would all get together and raise some holy hell over this . I need not echo the sentiments so many of you share. It would , I think, only serve to insult you and that is not my intent. But clearly either A, the system failed or B, we failed. Of course C would be that both A and B are true.

I have questions before you now fellow citizen is simply this what will YOU do now? Will just sit there and let party lines further undermine our agreed goals? Will sit there and continue to allow this elected body of ass-hats further dictate to it’s people what it will allow or will not allow? Will you sit there and use the same old tired sayings?

What can one man/woman do?

 My vote doesn’t count!

Well we just fail short is all.

We have a saying in my hometown “HORSE HOCKEY!

One man/woman can do nothing, however We THE People can. When we the people get together and lay aside all manner of petty bickering that divides and undermines the goal of restoring the Constitution to We the People. Until then expect more of the same types of defeats. 

Look I care less if you are white , black , Mexican, Chinese , Jew, Christian whatever. Todays passing of cap and tax should be the next shot heard round the world. Why ? Because this bill just passed. As if the previous spending measures by both Bush and Barry Soetoro ( OBAMA) weren’t enough , Now this ? Now in the middle of one of the sharpest declines in recent memory. Now we get to pay for some fellow to come and inquire about our emissions . I drive a 2003 Pickup with a V8 . Man I love my truck ( I  AM a TEXAN and we do love then trucks too) so what now I have to stop driving it in favor of the Obamamobile ? I hear its Government Motors (GMs) next project.

Folks Honestly we should protest.  Do you recall the old saying ” the squeaky wheel gets the grease” ?

Patriots , Americans, Texans Now is the time.

We the People it is high time WE started squeaking. It is time that we raised such a ruckus that they know who WE are and that We have had it .  Am I advocating civil disobedience ?? NO A million times no !! What I will suggest is tomorrow , hell tonight too, we call and fax and email every elected ass hat and voice our displeasure. Senators , Representatives, the white house, Heck call ol Barry Soetoro himself. Take the day and do it . Wearout the email INboxes, Make their fax machine run out of paper , Fill the inboxes. For the love of Liberty will someone get me these numbers so I can post them for those of us who don’t already have them. 

Ok sorry folks I ranted and could go on for a much longer period of time , but I shall spare you. Please reader for the love of all the freedoms and rights that we cherish and have defended this long , Will you stand with me ? Will you help me and try to avert this nations path to socialism at the hands of those who do NOT love her? I can only pray to God Almighty that you will.
